Magnetic attachment works with ferrous cookware such as cast iron, enameled cast iron, carbon steel, and magnetic stainless steel. Aluminum, copper, glass, ceramic, and nonmagnetic stainless steel will not attach.

Everyday use
With nonmagnetic cookware, each piece still works as an ordinary wooden trivet. Remove the trivet before returning cookware to a burner or oven. Do not use over direct flame or on a burner.
Care & packaging
Wipe clean with a soft cloth and dry promptly. Do not soak, submerge, or place in the dishwasher. Store dry indoors. Not for cutting or food preparation. The set arrives in a cushioned kraft box with a thank-you card and care instructions.
